Dan Mace, Bouygues Energies & Services EVP will join a panel discussion on future challenges to come and how we can all work to overcome these challenges.

On the panel he will be joined by Tony Jacob, Vice President of Design & Construction, Interxion: A Digital Realty Company and Tomas Rahkonen, Research Director of Distributed Data Centers, Uptime Institute at DCD Europe to discuss Building at scale and speed; what new challenges will we face in 2022? An event hosted by George Rockett, CEO & Co-Founder, DCD.

In a current climate where the ever-decreasing timelines are being compressed and new challenges of Data Centre construction is paramount, the industry is facing multiple challenges with resource availability and a supply chain under pressure. These challenges will be addressed, discussed and debated at this year’s DCD Europe.

Data Centre capacity is predicted to have already outstripped projections for 2021, with no end to the continued demand in sight. Competition for high voltage power, multi-million square footage land-banking, NIMBYism, and skilled worker shortages - this is the story of large-scale expansion across Europe.

This panel will deep-dive into the latest construction techniques, time-to-market strategies and the many roadblocks faced when building at scale.
