Bouygues Energies & Services awarded a new design and build cleanroom project 

Bouygues Energies & Services, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has been selected by Cambridge Technology; a Novanta Company for the delivery of its multi-million pound new manufacturing facility, located in Taunton. 

Bouygues Energies & Services will be responsible for the design, fit-out, electrical and mechanical services, commissioning and validation of the manufacturing facility.

The client’s existing building contains 4 unserved units with total GFA of 2,777 m². Once completed the facility will house a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ISO8 classified cleanroom, process areas, production facility, plant area and new offices.

Bouygues Energies & Services will build the facility in a modular way to ensure the project is completed in 56 weeks in line with the construction programme. The client, Cambridge Technology, will be able to produce low to high production batches with their state-of-the-art precision manufacturing facility for laser beam steering components.
